We're moved!!

This will be qucik and without pics... but WE ARE MOVED IN!!! :)
A HUGE thanks to both of our families who came and helped us out this week. There is no telling how many boxes we would still be unpacking right now if it weren't for our super generous families! Thank you!! Everything looks great and we are still feeling the excitement! What a wonderful way to spend Thanksgiving. Now, invite yourselves over and come check out the house!

So many things to be thankful for!

What a wonderful time of year, the Lord has blessed us in so many ways! We have wonderful weather, a beautiful, healthy, happy family (and that means all of you reading this!), a blessed marriage, an abundance of love, friendship, a new home, a job that provides for our family, a new baby on the way and an amazingly perfect 2 year old (if you can use perfect and 2 year old in the same sentence ;) ). Thank you Lord for giving us this time to reflect on all of these things, big and small, to be thankful for. Without you, it would be impossible.

We close on the new house in 6 days! And guess what, it looks ready!! :) Chad and I are in amazement at the transformation from construction site into what will be our home. We literally can not wait to start moving! I can't believe how all of the little details have come together to complete such a big project. Whoo Hoo, Whoop, Yippee! (I really don't know how typing any expression could communicate to anyone reading this the excitement we are feeling! lol)

it's getting so close... (update on the house)

This is the last post of the day, I promise! :) Just trying to get caught up!

Well, they sure are making a lot of progress! We are 19 days from closing on the house and it looks like it might actually be ready for us! They are bricking, trimming, hanging doors, painting, and installing all of the shelving in the closets! FUN STUFF! The progress is so fun to watch! Here are a few pictures from yesterday.

This is a view of the playrooms french doors from the living room. (I am SO excited about having a playroom!!)
Fireplace! (The mortar is still drying, it isn't really gray.)

Mule Deer Hunt, New Mexico

Chad had a really neat, last minute opportunity to go Mule Deer hunting with my dad this past week. He had a really great time, he came home exhausted and full of exciting stories! He also came home with a very nice 11 point! Mule Deer hunting was a new experience for Chad, the hunting style is way different from White Tail deer hunting. First of all this time of year Mule Deer season is only a week long and the guys literally were hunting all day over thousands of acres. They rode in vehicles and buggies, communicate with radios and stock the deer and drive them towards other hunters. Chad will have to tell you his deer story if you are interested (I don't think I could do it justice second hand!) Anyway, he had a GREAT time and I know he really appreciated the opportunity! Thanks dad! :) Here are some pics.....

The cutest little lion I've ever seen... :)

"Twick or Tweet!" (Yes, I know Halloween was a few days ago but here is my late post on the evening...) This cute little lion cub was not so excited to wear this costume, but after he realized that lions eat CANDY, he was all for it! ;)
